  • During a malacological survey in the department of Aveyron, we collected a sampling in a trough at the edge of a road. In fact this trough is the outlet of a confined reservoir, buried under a hill. The study of the collected material has allowed us to isolate a population of stygobitic spring snails. This population belonging to the. genus Bythinella MOQUIN-TANDON 1856 is classified in the subgenus Thibynella BOETERS 2009.
