A relatively large population of Ancylis habeleri Huemer & Tarmann, 1997, until now a species known only from the Austrian Alps, has been found for the first time in France at the Col du Mont-Cenis (commune of Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis in the departement of the Savoie (73). The biotope is described and male and female genitalia are illustrated.
