  • The habitats and phylogenetic relationships of New Caledonian Phalangopsidae are documented and discussed. Four new species are described, 3 belonging to the genus Caltathra Otte, 1987 (C. paniensis n. sp., C. minuta n. sp. and C. doensis n. sp.) and 1 to the genus Parendacustes Chopard, 1924 (P. lifouensis n. sp.). This last genus was previously known from the Indo-Malaysian region only. According to characters in male genitalia, it is proposed to limit the tribe Endacustini to the australian genera Endacusta Brunner von Wattenvyl, 1873, Endotaria Chopard, 1951 and Tathra Otte & Alexander, 1983, and to exclude the new caledonian genera, Caltathra et Protathra Desutter-Grandcolas, 1997a.
