  • The Corsican Staphylinidae Leptotyphlinae belonging to the genus Mesotyphlus Coiffait, 1957 (Entomoculiini) are revised. A new diagnosis of the genus is provided, with some new characters; two subgenera are present : Mesotyphlus s. str. and DexioOphlus Coiffait, 1964, this last one being new for Corsica and French fauna. The two known species, M. corsicus Coiffait, 1957, and M. temperei Coiffait, 1979, are redescribed. Eleven new species are described: M. acuminatus n. sp., M. acutus n. sp., M.coiffaiti n. sp., M. colossus n. sp., M. crassiphallus n. sp., M. cyrnensis n. sp., M. koziorowiczi n. sp., M. luctator n. sp., M. machomenos n. sp., M. raymondi n. sp. and M. revelierei n. sp.
