  • The female of Typhlodromus australicus (Womersley) from New South Wales is redescribed, and the male is described for the 1st time. Both sexes are compared with the closely related T. angophorae sp. nov. from New South Wales. The female of T. irregularis Evans from Malaysia is redescribed and compared with the closely related T. christinae sp. nov. from Tasmania and New Caledonia. The female of T. transvaalensis (Nesbitt) from New Caledonia is redescribed, and notes are given on T. scytinus Chazeau from Queensland and Amblyseius tamatavensis Blommers from Queensland, New Hebrides and Papua New Guinea. The females of A. waltersi sp. nov. from New South Wales and Victoria, of A. santoensis sp. nov. from the New Hebrides and of A. koumacensis sp. nov. from New Caledonia are described.
