  • The genus Lophosema Schaus, 1910, hitherto treated as a synonym of the genus Iscadia Walker, 1857, is rehabilitated. A new species is described, Lophosema reducta n. sp., based on nineteen specimens from French Guiana. Habitus and genitalia are illustrated and compared to those of L. purpurascens Schaus, 1910.
