  • During the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory performed in the Mercantour National Park (2009-2013), 47 species of Tipulidae were collected. Eleven species were new for the Mercantour National Park: Dictenidia bimaculata (Linnaeus, 1761), Nephrotoma crocata crocata (Linnaeus, 1758), N. guestfillica guestfalica (Westhoff', 1879), Tipula (Lunatipula) verrucosa verrucosa Pierre, 1919, T. (Media tipula) sarajevensis Strobl, 1898, T. (Mediotipula) siebkei Zetterstedt, 1852, T. (Pterelachisus) pabulina Meigen, 1818, T. (Pterelachisus)truncorum Meigen, 1830, T. (Savtshenkia) gimmerthali gimmerthali Lackschewitz, 1925, T. (Savtshenkia) invenusta subinvenusta Slipka, 1950, T. (Savtshenkia) serrulifera Alexander, 1942. A faunal list of the 55 species of Tipulidae from the National Park is provided, based on the present study and bibliographic data.
