  • Dictyla indigena (Wollaston, 1858) is first recorded in mainland Europe from the island of Brehat (Cotes-d'Armor) on Echium pininana and E. candicans. This species was only known from the Macaronesian islands where it is native and endemic. The diagnostic characters and the damage are illustrated. The sanitary and environmental risk linked to this new introduction is discussed.
