  • Two new species of Listriella found in the western Channel (area of Roseoff), L. dentipalma and L. spinifera, are described. L. dentipalma is characterized by its poorly developed eyes composed of a few widely scattered ommatidea, not in a distinct capsule; biarticulate accessory flagellum; palmar margin of gnathopods 1 and 2 covered with small posterior indentures; outer ramus of uropod 2 biarticulate; dorsal teeth over mesosomites 6-7 and metasomites 1-2 and urosomites 1-2; and telson bearing 2 pairs of distal spines. L. spinifera is characterized by its brown developed eyes; accessory flagellum of 4 articles; peduncle of uropod 1 very spiny; outer ramus of uropod 3 biarticulate; and telson bearing 1 pair of distal spines. These new species are compared with the total group of species of Listriella. Some observations on the systematics and geography of the family Liljeborgiidae along french coasts of Atlantic and English Channel, are provided.
