Four new species of Muricidae belonging to the sub-family Typhinae are described. Talityphis gabonensis n. sp. from Gabon, Talityphis pallidus n. sp. from Martinique, Monstrotyphis sera n. sp. from Queensland and Trubatsa patera n. sp. from Guadeloupe. These new species are compared to several closely related species. Conchological characters of the different genera are specified and discussed.
