| - The species Gibberula cordorae (de Jong and Coomans, 1988) is revised. Its distribution ranges from the type locality of Curacao up to Saint-Vincent and Saint-Lucia. The morphologic variability of its shell is observed as being very low in Saint-Vincent and noticeably higher in Curacao. A sibling species, Gibberula colombiana sp. nov., is described from Martinique. Its distribution ranges up to eastern Guadeloupe. The morphologic variability of its shell is low, and shows more affinities with the population from Curacao than with the Saint-Vincent's one. The present distribution of these different populations is interpreted as resulting from distinct dispersion stages rather than from a continuous geographic cline.
