| - Four species of digeneans detected in freshwater turtles of Mexico and South America represent new host and/or locality records. Rhinoclemmys areolata of Mexico and Rhinoclemmys punctularia of French Guian were infected with Nematophila grandis. Rhinoclemmys nasuta or Ecuador was infected with Otangioides tlacottoalpensis, Psudocleptodiscus margaritae, Pseudallssosotma heteroxenus, and N. grandis. Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima pulcherrima of Mexico, Rhinoclemmys annulata, Rhinoclemmys melanosterna, and Kinoseternon leucostomum of Ecuador, and Rhinoclemmys didemata of Venezuela were negative for digeneans.
