Kanakia parva sp. nov., Ueana fungiegera sp. nov., and Ueana stasserae sp. nov., three new species of cicada, are described from New Caledonia. All three species belong to the tribe Taphurini and are members of the Tibicinidae, apparently the only family of Cicadoidea represented on the island.
