  • In this paper, 23 species new for science are described and illustrated. They belong to the genera Cypha Stephens, 1832 (1 species), Brachida Mulsant & Rey, 1871 (1), Sternotropa Cameron, 1920 (7), Lomaglossina Pace, 1991 (1), Nemoedia Pace, 1991 (7), Anebolura Bernhauer, 1992 (1), Mimacrotona Cameron, 1920 (3) and Linoglossa Kraatz, 1859 (2). The genus Anebolura Bernhauer, 1922, is cited for the first time from New Caledonia. Cypha longeselosa (Cameron, 1943), from Borneo, is a new combination for Brachida longesetosa Cameron, 1943.
