  • Six genera of the flat bug subfamily Carventinae - all of them apterous are recorded to date from New Caledonia. A small collection of Aradidae presented to the author contained an unknown species which could not be placed in any of the carventine genera; Nowneaptera spinicephala gen.n. et sp.n. are proposed. Furthermore a new species of the previously monotypic genus Kaulocoris KORMILEV, 1971, Kaulocoris monteithi sp.n., is described, illustrated and compared with the type species Kaulocoris stylatus KORMILEV, 1971.
