  • The Synonymy Homia Blackwelder 1952 = Leptotheta Tronquet, 1998 syn. nov is demonstrated, together with synonyms H. seriata Fauvel, 1878 = L. equestris Tronquet 1998 syn. nov, and H. blascoi (Tronquet 1998) = L. blascoi Tronquet, 1998. Three new species. peregrinans, peyerhimoffi and raymondi collected respectively in mainland France, Jordan and Corsica are described. An identification key is made available and suitable illustrations provided. The position in the genus Homia of the Nearctic species gigantula (LeConte, 1877) is discussed, and a new combination is proposed to transfer it to the subgenus Homia (Nearcthomia) nov.
