| - Two new Talostolida pellucens (MELVILL, 1888) subspecies are recognized and described: 1. Talostolida pellucens jacksoni n. ssp. from Clipperton Island differs from other populations of T. pellucens mainly in its callous, elongate oval/cylindrical shape, mostly well produced/slightly upturned columellar margin, slightly stepped labral margin and its distinct, finely ribbed, concave-like peristome with a serrated ridge along its entire length. 2. Talostolida pellucens sumeihoae n. ssp. from Cocos and Malpelo Islands differs from other populations of T. pellucens mainly in its oval/pyriform shape, callous/produced and upturned columellar margin, stepped labral margin and moderately distinct peristome ribbing, with 3-4 strong anterior ribs connected by a callous ridge.
