Neuraeschna clavulata, n.sp., and N. capillata, n.sp., are described and illustrated on specimens collected in French Guiana and Brazil. They are closely related to N. claviforcipata Martin, 1909, but readily separable from it by the form of the male anal superior appendage and the shape of the genital fossa.
