  • Euboeus (Pelorinus) anthracinus (Germar, 1813) is rediscovered in France, in some 9 localities of the districts of Lot-et-Garonne, Landes and Gironde. This species was considered as extremely rare in France where its occurrence needed to be confirmed. Following this work, it is actually known from some n localities in this country, most of records being from zom to present. In most of each locality, many specimens (in tens to about one hundred) where observed. The authors present a collection of all historical and new records in France. E. anthracinus geographical distribution is analyzed and distribution maps of the species in France, to district and commune scales are presented. Informations about habitat and ecology are also given.
