  • We comment here on the presence, novel or confirmed, of three Bruchinae Coleopterans in Alsace, Acanthoscelides pallidipennis (MOTSCHULSKY, 1874), Bruchidius siliquastri DELOBEL, 2007 and Megabruchidius dorsalis (FAHRAEUS, 1839). They were found on the following exotic ornamental plants: Amorpha fruticosa L., Cercis spp. and Gleditsia spp., the first of which being considered in our region an invasive species. We further report that Megabruchidius dorsalis, and more atypically a Curculio glandium (MARSHAM, 1802), can feed on Gymnocladus dioicus (L.) seeds.
