  • As result of a study of New Caledonian Galerucinae 28 new species are described: Metrioidea alfredi n. sp., M. basalis n. sp., M. bertiae n. sp., M. cazeresae n. sp., M. cervus n. sp., M. doboszi n. sp., M. doeberli n. sp., M. dogueti n. sp., M. fauveli n. sp., M. immaculicollis n. sp., M. levmedvedevi n. sp., M. lopatini n. sp., M. ludwigi n. sp., M. maculipennis n. sp., M. minima n. sp., M. montaguei n. sp., M. montrouzieri n. sp., M. nitidicollis n. sp., M. oskari n. sp., M. scalaris n. sp., M. schmitti n. sp., M. schuhi n. sp., M. similis n. sp., M. spatulata n. sp., M. tchambicus n. sp., M. undulatoides n. sp., M. vachoni n. sp., M. warchalowskii n sp. A single specimen assumed to be collected in New Caledonia proved to belong to the African Duvivieria subsulcata Weise, 1903. For some other species additional faunistic and biological information is presented. A key to all New Caledonian Galerucinae (s. str.) is presented.
