  • New species (5) of Tetranychidae occurring on New Caledonian wild plants are described and figured: Schizotetranychus fauveli, Eotetranychus robini, E. garnieri, Oligonychus tiwakae and Tetranychus montrouzieri. This is the 1st recording of species of the genera Schizotetranychus and Eotetranychus from islands of the South Pacific area.
