| - Aleurodicus pulvinatus (Maskell) has recently emerged as a serious pest of coconut in St. Kitts and Nevis, Leeward Islands. Its recognition, synonymy with A. iridescens Cockerell and relationship to another pest species, A. cocois (Curtis), are discussed. An identification key is provided for Caribbean species of Aleurodicus (including the important pest, A. dispersus Russell) and the morphologically similar genus, Lecanoideus.
