| - Cratopopsis albii n. sp. is described. It differs notably from its two near relatives, C. alluaudi Ilustache, 1921, and C. antiquus (Richard, 1957) by: its dense vestiture distributed in small green and coppery scale patches alternating with bare areas, its small, not coalescent tubercles of the middle of the sides of its thorax, its pronotal disc with fairly dense punctures and by its slender acdeagus, not constricted before the apical spatula. It seems endemic to Reunion Island, where it is highly localized. Its only known host-plant is Claoxylon parviflorum A. Juss. (Euphorbiaceae).
