  • Micropterix huemeri sp. n. is described from the Alpes-Maritimes Department (southern France) and compared with its closest relatives, i.e. Micropterix trifasciella Heath, 1965 and Micropterix rothenbachii Frey, 1856. The new species is well characterised by the structure of the male genitalia.
