| - The locality known as the Malines is an abandoned mining site in the Gard at the extreme south of the Massif Central. It hosts an atypical population of the burnet moth Zygaena ephialtes (Linnaeus, 1767), in which equal numbers of the forms ephialtoides and peucedanoides are to be found. Present in both these forms are infrequent yellow specimens, a situation which is unique in France. The essentially forest biotope, with a new food plant for the species in France, Coronilla emerus, underlines the special nature of this population.
