  • Tibellus utotchkini Ponomarev, 2008 was discovered in France in four Bouches du Rhone sites in 2004 (before its description in 2008) and in 2017. Previously known from south Russia, then from Romania and Moldova, and therefore supposedly rather Eastern, the species appears limited to freshwater wetlands; it could be largely north Mediterranean and pontic. It is easily distinguished from other European species of the genus but is certainly rare.
