  • The previously unidentified Carnidae from the collection of Gerhard Bachli have been investigated. All in all, faunistical records of 26 species from Switzerland are presented. Meoneura alphabetica Carles-Tolra & Ventura, 2002, Meoneura exigua Collin, 1930, Meonettra milleri Gregor, 1973, Meoneura moravica Gregor & Papp, 1981, and Meoneura obscurella (Fallen, 1823) are new for the fauna of Switzerland. Meoneura occulta spec. nov., Meoneura pappi spec. nov., and Meoneura ziegleri spec. nov. are described. Additional records of Carnidae are reported from Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, and the USA.
