Huebneriella rosanti gen. et sp. n. (Lepidoptera: Hepialoidea: Hepialidae) is based on some specimens from the rainforest in French Guiana. The distinct female and male genitalia and wing ornamentation separate this taxon from other genera of Hepialidae although four derived characters states are shared in common with the cibyrine Glade. The holotype male is deposited in the collection of the Museum fur Naturkunde in Berlin (formerly Museum fur Naturkunde der Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin), Germany.
