| - Descriptions are presented of Diploharpus termitophilus sp. nov. and Diploharpus laevigatus sp. nov., which were captured in French Guiana. D. termitophilus differs from all other Diploharpus species by the structure of the umbilicate series of the elytra, which consists of 15 regularly spaced hairs along the lateral groove, by the character of large, catenulate ninth elytral interval, and by the faint and finely punctate sutural stria. The description is based on study of a female holotype and two paratypes. The male is unknown. D. laevigatus sp. nov., which belongs to the Diploharpus group lacking an apical striole on the 7th elytral stria, is distinguished by its smaller size, its very faint, finely punctate elytral striae and sutural stria, small pronotum with rounded posterior angles and lateral groove which narrows at the front. The description is based on a male holotype and seven paratypes.
