| - Dimissalna dimissa (Hagen, 1856) and Tibicina steveni (Krynicki, 1837), two species of cicadas considered as very rare in France and unknown to the Languedoc - Roussillon region were observed in 2,013 in the localities of Sainte-Cecile-d'Andorge and La Grand-Combe in the department of Gard. Elements related to their habitat and phenology are compared with data from others sites in France. Cicadas specific richness in the studied site as well as the remarkable sympatry of T steveni with T quadrisignata (Hagen, 1855) are discussed.
