  • In this article, it is presented the Diptera family Acartophthalmidae and report the discovery of Acartophthalmus bicolor Oldenberg, 1910 and A. nigrinus (Zetterstedt, 1848) in southern Finistere. This is the second report of A. bicolor in our country and the first report of A. nigrinus, a new species for our fauna.
