  • Many studies have recently been led about Orthopteroid insects in Corsica. After the synthesis compiled by BRAUD & al. (2002), the authors present the advance of the check-list of Orthoptera, Mantopteres, Blattoptera, Dermaptera and Phasmoptera species in the island. Fourteen taxa are added, while eight are removed. A cockroach is announced for the first time in France : Phyllodromica sardea. Special informations (maps, ocillogramms, morphologic information for identifying, ethology, catching) are given about the least known species : Acrometopa servillea, ssp. italica, Metaplastes pulchripennis, Platycleis albopunctata ssp. monticola, Rhacocleis bonfilsi, R. corsicana, Steropleurus chopardi, Uromenus brevicollis ssp. insularis, Petaloptila andreinii. Distribution maps will be led soon.
