  • The recent revision of the western palearctic species of Nacerdes subgenus Xanthochroa proposed by V. Svihla (1991) is completed. A lectotype of N. (X.) raymondi (Mulsant & Godart, 1860) is designated, this species is considered as valid and N. (X.) barbara (Peyerimoff, 1918) is synonymized with it (n. syn.). The Corsican subspecies of N. (X.) gracilis is newly named bellieri (Reiche, 1861). N. (X.) carniolica atlantica n. ssp. is described from south western France. A key for the identification of the French species and subspecies is also presented with many new faunistic data.
