| - Preliminary studies on the biodynamics of the juvenile shrimps (Penaeidae) of the mangrove swamp of Guadalupe (French Antilles). Eight spp. of Penaeids originating from the mangrove swamp of Guadaloupe were collected: Penaeus (Melicertus) Aztecus subtilis, P. (M.) brasiliensis, P. (M.) duorarum notialis, P. (Litopenaeus) schmitti, Trachypenaeus similis similis, T. constrictus, Sicyonia wheeleri, and S. laevigata. Four of these species are of great commercial importance, and the last 6 are cited for the first time in Guadeloupe. There are important variations in abundance, average sizes and sex ratio in time and space, which result in permanent rearrangements of the populations studied. A first study of the emigrations of the young, judging from captures made, has been completed, using a special net known as a gangui.
