| - The author, being based on the material received in study, on the specimens contained in public and private collections and on the review of literature, supplies a contribution that synthesizes and widens the current faunistic knowledge relative to the Eumenidae family. Fourteen taxa form Sardinia are described for the first time (species and subspecies): Tropidodynerus fertoni (Dusmet), Gymnomerus laevipes (Schuckard), Microdynerus mirandus (Giordam Soika), Stenodtynerus aequisculptus aequisculptus (Kost-ylev), Stenodynerus bluefgheni van der Vecht, Pseudepipona lativentris lativentris (Saussure), Euodynerus curictensis sardous n. ssp., Euodynerus variegatus variegatus (Fabricius), Etiodynerus (Paretiodynerus) notatus (Jurine), Euodynerus (Pareuodynerus) posticus posticus (Herrich Scaeffer), Ancistrocerus nigricornis (Curtis), Symmorphus crassicornis (Panzer), Eumenes coronatus (Panzer), and Eumenes papillarius (Christ). In particular, Tropidodynerus./ertoni (Dusmet) and Stenodynerus aequisculptus aequisculptus (Kostylev) are new records for the fauna of Italy.The following unpublished specimens are described: the Tropidodynerusfertoni (Dusmet) male, the Allodynerus delphinalis sardous Bluthgen female and the new subspecies Euodynerus curictensi sardous n. ssp. It is assessed that Euodynerus bidentiformis G.S is not a synonymous for Euodynerus bidentatus Lep.As an integration to the corology information, notes and observations on the species described and the studied fauna are reported. The total number of the species of Eumenidae up to date in Sardinia arises to 55 taxa including species and subspecies.
