  • The life-cycle of Angiostoma aspersae Morand, 1986, parasite of the mantle cavity of Helix aspersa Muller was experimentally studied. The larval stages of the nematode are described. In Molluscs, females deposits first-stage larvae that leave the mantle cavity; the larvae, when placed in contact with snails, were found between mantle and shell and then developed to third-stage larvae. Third-stage larvae migrate to the mantle cavity, probably through the respiratory pore and complete their development.
