dct:abstract	Lectotypes and paralectotypes were designated for the following species which are redescribed: T. stratiomyiae Kieffer (Algeria, ex. [extracted from] Stratiomyia anubis Wiedemann), T. kenyae Kieffer (Kenya) and T. alticola Kieffer (Kenya). Described as new is T. fumipennis (Gabon), reared from puparia of Drosophila libellulosa Tsacas et Legrand which is an egg-parasite of Malgassophlebia aequatoris Legrand (Odonata). T. longula Sundholm (South Africa, Natal) is found in numbers in Gambia, West Africa. T. tachinidarum Ferriere (Java, ex. tachinid puparia) is redescribed and compared to T. billaevora sp. nov. (New Caledonia) reared from the tachinid Billaea agrianomei Musil.
