  • Fulcidax lisai n. sp. from French Guyana is described based on a single female specimen. The new species is close to F. monstrosa, F. coelestina, and F. klugii, to which it is compared. These species are distinct from the remaining species of Fulcidax by the absence of strongly raised sharp tubercles on the posterior third of elytra, where only moderately raised crests are present.
