  • Camelobaetidius ortizi was found in French Guiana. The last-instar larva is described ; it is small-sized : body length excluding cerci : 3.0 mm. The number of denticles under tarsal claws is 23 or 24. Morphology of the labial palp is characteristic. The combination of characters of C. ortizi shows little affinities with the species of Camelobaetidius described so far.
