  • One new species in the genus Othorene BOISDUVAL, 1872 and one in Procitheronia MICHENER, 1949 (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae; Ceratocampinae) are described and figured: Othorene winbrechlini n. sp., which occurs from the Andean area in Bolivia and Peru, eastwards to the Brazilian state of Para; and Procitheronia vanschaycki n. sp. from French Guiana. Both holotypes are in coll. Ronald BRECHLIN, Pasewalk (CRBP), in coll. Museum WITT, Munich (Germany), which later, together with this collection, will be included in Zoologische Staatssammlungen Muenchen, Munich, Germany. The preimaginal instars of the new species are unknown.
