| - The revision of the ungrounded group of the species %22 viatica%22 sensu Rogues proved the incapacity of its author to understand the taxonomy, the morphology and the phylogeny of those. It denatured documentary information of the species considered by the serious specialists as %22 nomina dubia %22, returned to the exceeded criteria of a outdated classification, has ignored the modern research on the value of the characters of the male genitalia for the correct identification of the species, by admitting the same type of genitalia for several species and introduced nonsignificant drawings of the sclerites of the ovipositor. On the basis of its confusion, we described three new species: Nitellia guernica n. sp. (syn. Pollenia bicolor sensu Rogues, 1991b, n. syn.) of the fauna of Spain, Nitellia ospedaliana n. sp. (syn. Pollenia ruficrura sensu Rognes, 1991b, n. syn. of the fauna of Corsica and Nitellia hermoniella n. sp. (syn. Pollenia mediterranea sensu Rognes, 1991 b) of the fauna of Israel. Moreover, we established the following synonyms: Nitellia bulgarica (Jacentkovsky, 1936) (syn. Pollenia ponti Rognes, 1991 b:457, fig. 24-31 - n. syn.); Nitellia bisulca (Pandelle, 1896) (syn. Pollenia fulvipalpis sensu Rognes, 1991b:477, - n. syn.) ; Nitellia pallida (Rohdendorf, 1926) (syn. Pollenia viatica sensu Rognes, 1991 b:483 - n. syn.). All these taxonomic modifications were established by the checking of the bibliographical data and collections of Israel (determined by Rognes), by the analysis of the logic of exposed and the improvisations of Rognes, by there comparison of the morphological and graphic details of the genitalia of the species in question and them confrontation with the standards of the C.I.N.Z.
