| - A new species of epizoic fungus on the ants Cataglyphis cursor (Fonscolombe) found in Southern France was described under the name Aegeritella roussillonensis n. sp. Since the considerable number of the ants was strongly covered with the mycelium and its large pseudoscleroticoidal aggregations grew often on mouth parts one can consider sure that the fungus disturbed the activity of the workers. Occurrence of the fungal warts was also stated on the queen. The key for identification of 4 hitherto described species of the genus Aegeritella was elaborated.
