  • Pseudoscorpions, assigned to the new genera, Neobalkanella n. gen. and Bituberoroncus n. gen., which are distributed in the northeastern and northwestern Mediterranean, are described, along with an undetermined species of Bituberoroncus. Proofs for the existence of two new genera and a previously unknown species are presented. Ecological and available zoogeographic information on the taxa is given in brief. The presence of a new genus, Neobalkanella n. gen., previously reported from the Balkan Peninsula under the name of Tyrannochthonius Chamberlin, is confirmed, and the occurrence of another new genus and species, previously unknown from the Maritime Alps in France is proved. Illustrations, morphometric ratios and linear measurements of all new taxa are provided.
