  • Three new curculionids are described. Perrinella hirta Ferragu & Richard, gen. n., sp. n., belonging to the Embrithini tribe. Sclerocardius madecassus Ferragu, sp. n. is compared with Sclerocardius africanus Schoenherr and remarks on the systematic position of the genus Sclerocardius are provided. The discovery of Cratopus bernei Richard, sp.n., gives the opportunity to quote the captures of four species considered as extinct: Cratopus chrysochlorus Boheman, C. septemvittatus Deyrolle, C. bouroni Hustache and C. leucophaetus Boheman.
