The faunistical data of 74 Tenebrionid species from New Caledonia are given based on the material collected by G. B. & S. R. Monteith in 1973 and G. Monteith & D. Cook in 1984. The description of 20 new species is presented: Trachyderastes monteithi sp. n., Menimus cooki sp. n., M. bicornutus sp. n., M. anisotomoides sp. n., Dioedus pseudapterus sp. n., Uloma robusta sp. n., U. monteithi sp. n., Lorelus kanak sp. n., Isopus monteithi sp. n., I. frater sp. n., I. fortesulcus sp. n., Callismilax simplex sp. n., C. monteithi sp. n., Pseudobyrsax cooki sp. n., P. flavomaculatus sp. n., Adelozotypus rugosus sp. n., A. aberrans sp. n., Cymbeba paniei sp. n., C. hirsuta sp. n., C. monteithi sp. n. Description of the first Australian species of the genus Lorelus (L. queenslandicus sp. n.) is given. Gonocephalum ochthebioides Fauvel, 1862 is synonym of G. cristovallense (Montrouzier, 1855) (Opatrum), with 68 figures.
