The Orthoptera Eyprepocnemis plorans (Charpentier, 1825) and the Hemiptera Solenosthedium bilunatum (Lefebvre, 1827) have been found for the first time on mainland France. Previously, these two species were known only on the French island of Corsica. The condition of their discovery and the hypothesis of their presence are discussed.
