The powder-post beetle Lyctoxylon dentatum (Pascoe, 1866) (Coleoptera Bostrichidae Lyctinae) has been recorded for the first time in France (Versailles). It has been found in bamboo props imported from Asia, along with Dinoderus minutus (F., 1775) (Bostrichidae Bostrichinae) and Tarsostenus univittatus (Rossi, 1792) (Cleridae).
