The present study includes the specimens recently caught and those recorded in the literature. A new species is described: Parachirus diringeri sp. n. and a new record for the area is indicated: Cynoglossus lachneri. Solea borbonica Regan, 1905 is redescribed and assigned to the genus Soleichthys Bleeker, 1860.
