Four new Austromitra species from New Caledonia are presented, collected during (deep water) expeditions organized by the MNHN between 1978 and 2008. A. brunneopunctata n. sp. is compared with A. bellapicta (VERco, 1909), A. crayssaci n. sp. with A. brunneopunctata n. sp., A. semirosea n. sp. with A. lawsi FINLAY, 1930 and A. koumacensis n. sp. with A. cernohorskyi TURNER, 2008 and A. valarieae Lussi, 2015. A fifth new species A. willcoxae n. sp. is described from South Australia and compared with A. koumacensis n. sp. and A. valarieae Lussi, 2015. Another Austromitra from deep dredging in the Coral Sea is mentioned.
